CCleaner is going to be the best, all around, "free" software out there. I've used it for years and all the PC's that I build I install CCleaner for the customer to use. Nothing beats it so far.

Auslogics is ok. It does the trick, but it can and will touch some keys that don't need to be deleted.

The only other one I would recommend is Glary Utilities. Very nice package of software for the advanced user.

I agree that ccleaner is probably the best Freeware registry cleaner. I recently formated my main drive and started over. and i'm using ccleaner.

However, i previously used Regvac. PM me if interested. i feel that it is more thorough than ccleaner.


Another good app that i feel is kind of in the same category is Revo Uninstaller (free version, also have pro version more features). its the same as Your Uninstaller (not free).
Revo uninstalls software and searches the registry for strings that get added when the software is uninstalled.
