Is DS running this soft for their server?

Why would we want to run that "shit" software on a $3000+ server??? Both of our servers are running Windows Server editions as their operating systems and that is all we need...

...we dont host a site for warez nor do we file share if that is what u are asking....

Even so, we can set up FTP users to do this through the operating system on the server. This software is just so you can turn a remote PC into a file sharing server.

Relax baby, i was not asking this. didn't know what DS situation was. I offered to purchase a copy of TF2 if you guys are willing to host it. i never heard back.

im wanting to start my own forum. thats the reason i asked if you use that software. im not sure if i should build a cheap server, use a high end NAS or take one of my older pcs and run that software and host from the old pc. i have a copy of MWS 2003. you have an opinion?

Renting hosting space and purchasing a domain is next to nothing for total cost... I would recommend going that route. It would be the easiest thing for you.
